FRIENDSHIP AND BELIEF

Today’s inspirational quote struck a bit of a cord:
"If you have time to whine and complain about something then
you have the time to do something about it." -- Anthony J. D'Angelo

Why do we do it - who has the God-given right to think their role is to show others how to live? We all seem to have become moaning Minnie’s continually carping on about how bad the economy is; the horrible job market, global warming bla bla bla!

With so many people telling us we can't succeed, isn’t it time to hear people telling us we can. Who are we to think our job is to protect other people from failure? Dreams are not only meant for others.

We need more optimists, in fact, the world needs more people to speak from their heart and encourage each other with a simple: "I believe in you." When it comes to encouragement, we should look to associate with people who bring out the best in us, people who can uplift us and make us feel good.

So often the difference between success and failure is belief. We don’t easily forget the negative people who told us we could not accomplish something, but we will always remember and hold a special place in our heart for those, in whatever small way, encouraged us.

Decide and encourage others to uplift someone who is feeling down. It doesn‘t take a long speech and very often a smile to a lonely person, which cost‘s you nothing, is priceless to them.
